The Spanish Festival arrives in Naples at the Mostra d'Oltremare with culinary and folkloristic traditions of the beloved peninsula!
Il 30 June and the 1, 2, 7, 8, and 9 July 2017 there will be Spanish Festival to the Mostra d'Oltremare a Napoli.
It is a party that leads to know the culinary and folk traditions of a country very close to us, culturally and geographically. There will be the opportunity to taste typical dishes of Spanish cuisine, such as tapas, paella, sangria and attend performances of typical dances and voice and guitar concerts, typical of this country.
This year the location will be particularly suggestive because in fact near the dancing fountains and will be part of the larger event "Naples Meet the World". The single ticket of the Festival del Mondo will give the opportunity to participate in all events within the structure.
Events of the Spanish Festival
Dining
One of the sections of the Festival will be dedicated to Spanish cuisine and you will be able to taste all its typical dishes, from true paella with toasted rice, quality vegetables, fish and meat, al "Rite of tapas". These are the typical hot or cold snacks with cheeses, meats, fried foods and much more. There will be Gazpacho, cold tomato soup, patatas bravas and, of course, la sangria.
Concerts and dances
There is not yet a detailed program, but during the days of the event there will be many concerts of Spanish music and the Flemish.
Conferences and internships
The calendar includes a series of conferences and internships on the Spanish culture, to learn more about this sunny country and so close to us.
Recall that among the many events, there will also be the Irish Festival.
Program shows
Andalusian horses
The spectacle of the most beautiful and elegant Spanish horses will be repeated four times a day transporting you to the atmospheres of Siviliga, Granada and Andalusia. Andalusian horses are proud, fast and dynamic and are part of the bullfighting shows in Spain.
Flamenco
The most sensual Spanish dance to be proposed on stage by theAlma Gitana and the Dementia Flamenca, two groups of dancers with typical clothes that will dance on the rhythms of the sticks.
Alme gitana - horses and dancers to the rhythm of Andalusian music
from fusion between equestrian art and flamenco born this original show proposed by the Alma Gitana group. Skilled dancers will dance side by side with elegant specimens of Spanish horses.
Concert program
Spanish and Andalusian guitar concerts
The concerts will repropose the most beautiful and exciting melodies of great guitarists such as Paco de Lucia, by Andrés Segovia thanks to the skill of the musician Eduard Gogoanta who will perform with the singer and dancer Pilar Diaz Romero.
Rumba flamencata
This is the musical genre made famous by the Gypsy King that combines the rhythms of rumba with the sensuality of flamenco.
