The beloved Easter Fair is about to return in its fourth edition, among the streets of the historic center of Naples! Here is the program!
Easter is approaching and Naples begins to prepare to celebrate it. We will start immediately with the fourth edition of the renowned Easter Fair, which will be the protagonist of Via San Gregorio Armeno, 7 from March to April 12 2015.
The famous initiative, organized by the Body Association of Naples and the City Council, will bring to light the craftsmanship and the Neapolitan art through the characteristic Pasquale Neapolitan Nativity.
Aunt open shops, therefore, which will exhibit scenes and representations of Holy Easter in Naples. A celebration that is celebrated in the city from the religious point of view and especially at the table.
For the occasion, in fact, the fair will also participate in numerous restaurants, pastry shops, restaurants and pizzerias that will delight citizens and tourists with casatielli, pastiere and all the Easter delicacies of the Neapolitan tradition.
And obviously you can not miss the appointment with the folk music: during the entire period of the festival, in fact, will perform various bands that will entertain visitors with triccheballacche, tammorre and many other instruments belonging to the city folklore.
A program full of appointments that will involve not only San Gregorio Armeno, but the areas most beautiful and evocative of Naples, like the lower Decumano, the Decumano maggiore, Piazza San Domenico Maggiore, Piazza San Gaetano and Largo Corpo di Napoli.

Shops open in San Gregorio Armeno - from 10 to 20
The master craftsmen will teach traditional construction techniques. Each workshop will show works in the eighteenth-century nativity scene related to the Passion and the Resurrection. The shops will be decorated with Easter ornaments that also recall the Austrian tradition of egg decoration.
I Percorsi del Gusto - from 10am to 23pm
Tastings that recall the ancient flavors of traditional Easter cuisine in trattorias, pizzerias and pastry shops in the historic center.
The Songs of the Popular Tradition - every weekend, from 7 March to 12 April 2105
In Piazza San Domenico Maggiore and in the Decumani, performances by various traditional musical groups.
