The Mergellina Funicular is closed due to a technical failure since the 26 September 2016 morning.
Please note:! The rides on the Mergellina funicular have been restored.
Due to a technical failure, the Funicular of Mergellina è closed by 12.30 of the 26 of the September 2016 e will re-open on Wednesday 28 September.
In fact, the closure is also necessary for the September 27 in order to make it possible maintenance works and ensure that the funicular returns to function properly.
To limit the inconvenience of the citizens, some bus shuttles were activated for the Mergellina-Manzoni section.
Replacement bus
Along the whole Mergellina-Manzoni route, generally served by the Funicular, the 621 bus shuttle running races 50 every minute in the following times:
- first departure on 26 September at 15.00 pm, while the last will be at 21.03 pm
- the September 27 service will start at 7.00 and end at 21.30
