Wednesday 13 June 2018 the Mergellina Funicular in Naples is temporarily closed. Instead, a bus is active on the same route.
The ANM informs all citizens of Naples that the Mergellina Funicular has been temporarily closed this morning, Wednesday 13 June 2018, but without explaining the reasons. The Funicular was closed at 9.30 e it will stay that way until 12.30, time when he will return to work regularly.
On the other hand, to meet the needs of the commuters, one was activated replacement bus line, 621 shuttle making departures every 40 approximately minutes. He started at 9.30 and le next useful departures are 10:10 - 10:50 - 11:30 - 12:10 on the Mergellina-Via Manzoni route.
Le stops of the shuttle are the following:
- Mergellina (2140 funicular stop), Via Caracciolo, Via Orazio, Via Manzoni (2262 funicular stop), Via Stazio, Via Orazio, Mergellina.
Moreover, this bus it will stop every time at the intermediate stations of the funicular, so as to almost completely replace its path, at the moment suspended.
