They continue the inconveniences and the discontent concerning the delicate situation of the safety on the funiculars in Naples, which are managed by ANM, or by theNeapolitan company Mobility. We refer in particular to that of Montesanto, where concerns continue to grow despite the intervention of the Union of the Base to avoid unpleasant situations.
Just last month, the ANM, urged by theUSB, had taken charge of the situation, providing the list of safety officers, of all those who normally have to check the first aid kits and of all first aid workers.
However, the company did not honor its commitment, forcing the USB to intervene again, the same deputy prefect reiterated that the "Safety rules are not negotiable".
The demonstrations and the possible strike
Precisely for the reasons cited above, the USB has denounced the risk that involves the lack of safety on ANM vehicles, given that many workers who covered fundamental roles have retired or have undergone role changes.
Therefore, the Union of the Base Union will implement all the demonstrations and initiatives to move the situation, from the use of the competent bodies up to possible strikes.
