Città della Scienza reopens with a surprising journey to discover the brain and an exhibition on dinosaur puppies
7 months after the fire that destroyed much of the Science Center of Bagnoli, the activities of City of Scienza, and it starts right from Remote Future, one of the most important events for the dissemination of scientific and technological culture on the Italian and European scene, which this year reaches its 27th edition.
For the occasion the November 7 at 17: 00 a great one will be held reopening party with free admission.
Future Remote 2013 will propose, from the next November 7, BRAIN - The world in the head, a charming journey in the meanders of the human brain, discovering the true essence of man, exploring the functions and symbols of this extraordinary, and in some ways still mysterious, body organ.
Visitors, young and old, will be involved in the discovery by special effects, 3D animations and reproductions and virtual simulations, inside a sparkling tunnel where they will be overwhelmed by flashing neurons, in a journey that is both fun and educational, in full " style ”City of Science.
At the end of the path everyone will know the speed and complexity of brain cells, the differences between the human and animal brains, how emotions, sensations and perceptions are connected to the brain through a real "electrical storm", places of the mind where dreams and memories are produced, to many other curiosities about the most mysterious vital organ of man. Eventually the kids will be able to test their skills with i Brain Games, games that emulate artificial intelligence.

Puppies and dinosaur eggs
But Città della Scienza has also thought about the little ones, that from 8 November 2013 will be able to visit Puppies and dinosaur eggs, a exhibition coming from Australia and realized thanks to the advice of some internationally renowned paleontologists.
They will be exposed dinosaur puppies, the eggs and theirs full-scale nests, one of which is two meters high. Children will be able to touch real dinosaur bones and understand how scientists derived information about dinosaurs and the similarities between their species and that of birds from eggs. An exhibition of works by paleoartisti which will illustrate how the image we have of dinosaurs has changed from the first discoveries to today. And, again, workshops, shows, meetings and films on these mysterious creatures of the past.
