The traditional Neapolitan event " Futuro Remoto. A Journey Through Science and Science Fiction" is now in its 28th year and will take place in the Città della Scienza . This major annual project aims to disseminate scientific and technological culture, making it accessible to everyone.

This year too, all the events will revolve around a common theme , and this year's theme will be the Sea . This theme will be explored through a huge exhibition space spanning approximately 1000m2, which will include lectures, debates, and meetings with scientists, scientific and creative workshops, performances, and a film and documentary program.

All visitors can thus undertake an interesting and fascinating journey into the world of deep sea, getting to know the organisms that live there and that are also part of our gastronomy, as well as being the object of numerous fishing activities.

The main exhibitions of the whole event will be two: GNAM - Mare and Orizzonte Mare.
The inaugural event will be held tonight 31 October 2014, while all the event will last until November 9.
