Naples celebrates the 2017 Contemporary Day with a full program of exhibitions and free events to spread art!
Il 14 October also Napoli participate in the 2017 Contemporary Day, event organized every year by Amaci, the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums. Some exhibitions and workshops will also run until November.
In our country there will be about a thousand participating realities, among museums, galleries, associations cultural and academies that they will open for free The doors. In Naples they are well 42 events scheduled, through which the public can discover many artists and new ideas.
In order to spread contemporary art they contribute then exhibitions, conferences, guided tours and workshops. As in previous editions, the leading image of the Giornata del Contemporaneo has been entrusted to an internationally renowned Italian artist.
Thus, this year Liliana Moro brings attention to the expression "Daily Bread", to represent theart as real nourishment for the soul, as vital as food. In the past editions artists such as Cattelan, Pistoletto, Isgrò and Pivi had been involved in the project.
Among the institutions that host the initiative in our city are theAcademy of Fine Arts, the archaeological Museum National, the Space Nea. The Mother Museum will offer guided tours to the public to know the latest exhibitions.
