For the 2017 World Earth Day, at the PAN of Naples the Festival of Earth Arts with events and tastings.
Al PAN di Napoli we will celebrate theEarth Day 2017 with the fourth edition of the event Happy Earth Days conceived and organized by the association ArtStudio'93.
The Happy Earth Days, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Naples, arise from the need to raise public awareness on the theme of respect for our Earth and the environment, through art. The theme chosen for the 2017 edition is “Ego and Eco: individualism and ecological awareness”.
Within the event will be organized debates, tastings and performances. The focal point of the event is the exhibition of unpublished photographs that will also host works of Land Art and environmental installations, of sound and visual art in collaboration with important festivals. Within these, a technical jury will award the Happy Earth Day Prize 2017.
The inauguration of the event will coincide with the World 2017 Day and on the occasion of the anniversary the Mother Museum of Naples will change its name to MadreTerra. In addition, visitors will be invited to go on foot or by bike to the events and sponsors will provide the use of pedal assisted bicycles.
The event received the patronage of the Municipality of Naples and of the Earth Day Italy, entering the calendar of the official national celebrations of the Earth Day 2017 as well as of WWF and Slow Food, while the exhibition received the patronage of the PAV - Parco arte Vivente of Turin and the Pistoletto Foundation - City of Art.
