The sixth stage of the 106th Giro d'Italia, scheduled on May 11, 2023, will cross the Metropolitan City of Naples and the Province of Salerno, influencing local roads and public transport.
During the event, some municipalities of the Municipality of Naples and various municipalities in the area will undergo some temporary traffic changes and transport services.
Suspensions and variations of ANM buses and trams
Following the Giro d'Italia, the ANM surface service will have to adapt to the transit restrictions on various city streets between 10:30 and 17:30 on 11 May.
The main changes to the public transport lines are as follows:
- Lines down all day: 2, 5, 154, 156, 173A, 176, 177, 194 and E6
- Lines closed from 09am until the need ceases: 116, 151, 158, 195, 196 and 254
- Lines 128 and 140: transfer of the terminus and limitation in piazza Vittoria
- Line 173: stop in Volla in via Petrarca and limitation in via Commissario Ammaturo from 09:30
- Line 175: limitation in Massa di Somma and reversal in via Veseri from 09:30
- Line 191: modified route effective from 09:30, departing from piazza Garibaldi and passing through corso Garibaldi, piazza p. Umberto, via Firenze, corso Meridionale, via Salgari, via Don Sturzo and via Callas
Variation of the Alibus service during the stage of the Giro d'Italia
During the stage of the Giro d'Italia, the Alibus service will undergo changes starting by 09: 30 of May 11 and until the end of the requirements.
The races will be carried out directly on the following itineraries:
- Airport – Central Station and back: route along the ring road
- Airport - Maritime Station and back: use of the internal road network of the port area (via the motorway)
It is emphasized that the times of application of the provisions are only indicative and could be subject to variations in relation to the progress of the event.
