The Guarantor for the protection of personal data has expressed its favorable opinion for the activation of a bonuses for those who buy corrective contact lenses or prescription glasses. This is a one-off contribution worth 50 euros for purchases made from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2023. Hence, it is retroactive.
This bonus, together with the others disbursed in recent weeks to face the economic crisis, both for families in difficulty and sometimes in favor of each nucleus, are slowly helping our economy to recover and families to move forward.
Who can get the bonus
The bonus for prescription glasses and corrective contact lenses:
- is for families with Isee not more than 10000 €;
- will be provided in the form of voucher or how reimbursement, if the purchase has already been made;
- for the purchased of prescription glasses or corrective contact lenses carried out from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023.
How to get the bonus
To get the bonus via voucher or refund you will have to register on the special platform on the Ministry of Health website which has not yet been activated and will be paid after verification of the Isee requirements by INPS.
The voucher will be available on the website, while the refund will be paid into your bank account via Iban coordinates provided upon registration.
So, to register you need one of these documents:
- Electronic Identity Card (CIE);
- Public system for the management of digital identity (SPID);
- National Service Card (CNS)
To obtain the voucher you must indicate:
- email and / or telephone number of the applicant's choice;
- any data of the member or members of the family unit for which the benefit is requested (name, surname, tax code);
- number of vouchers due (in relation to the members of the family who are entitled to them);
The voucher must be spent within 30 days.
To obtain a refund, you must indicate:
- email and / or telephone number of the applicant's choice;
- any data of the member or members of the family unit for which the benefit is requested (name, surname, tax code);
- number of vouchers due (in relation to the members of the family who are entitled to them);
- the details of the invoice or commercial documentation confirming the purchase of glasses or contact lenses: VAT number of the merchant; invoice number; Invoice date; invoice amount; amount of the asset associated with the initiative;
- the Iban on which to pay the refund.
From the moment the site is activated to register, you will have 60 days to obtain the contribution.
