At the 2016 Carnival the Grand Court Ball at the Royal Palace of Naples with King Ferdinand

A great Court Ball at the Royal Palace staged for the 2016 Carnival in Naples, dedicated especially to children!

From 6 to 9 February 2016 , to celebrate the 2016 Carnival in Naples , the Court Ball will be staged inside the halls of the Royal Palace : a show with great historical protagonists, King Lazzarone, aka King Ferdinand, and his consort, Queen Maria Carolina.

This will be a special guided tour of the Royal Palace, complete with theatrical interludes: you'll see King Ferdinand eating a babà before his usual hunting trip, but he'll also take his guests into the royal rooms, where he'll meet Queen Maria Carolina, busy beautifying herself at her dressing table. The Queen will entertain her guests with elegant dance moves and convince the King to join her for the Grand Court Ball, the reason for the guests' visit to the Palace.

The show was organized by the "Le Nuvole" theater and is aimed primarily at children. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing to make sitting on the floor easier . Reservations and pre-purchase of tickets are required . You must also purchase the entrance ticket to the Royal Palace (admission fee for adults only), which can be purchased at the box office on the day of the event.

Dance for the schools

In addition to the Grand Carnival Ball, activities for schools will continue from February 1st to 29th as follows:

• 9.30 and 11.30 hours
• every weekday, excluding Wednesdays
• by reservation only: € 175,00 per group (max 25 participants)
