Now the anti-Covid provisions in Italy they are constantly evolving and gradually many of them have been loosened with the advancement of the days with spring and not winter temperatures and also because a large part of the population is vaccinated. The government has decided that, barring major changes in the epidemiological curve, they can change the rules concerning the Green pass andobligation to wear a mask need get vaccinated.
From Sunday 1 May 2022 we will be able to say goodbye almost totally to the Green Pass because it will be mandatory to show it only for certain activities, while the obligation to wear a mask indoors remains in some situations.
Let's see better what we are talking about.
Green Pass in the workplace
It will no longer be required to enter work no type of Green Pass, therefore neither the basic nor the reinforced one.
Consequently, even those who still have the obligation to get vaccinated, ie those over 50 workers, will not have to show it to go to work. Therefore, even those who are not vaccinated, those who have not been sick and those who have not taken a tampon can go to work normally without showing the Green Certification.
Vaccine obligation: for those who stay
They are still subject to the obligation to be vaccinated until June 15, 2022:
- over 50 workers;
- employees of the Police Forces;
- the Armed Forces;
- school and university staff.
The obligation remains until 31 December for:
- who is employed in hospitals, health facilities, residences for the elderly (RSA)
Sanctions for those who do not comply with the vaccine obligation
Those who are obliged to get vaccinated and do not, incur the following penalties.
Over 50 workers and law enforcement agencies
These categories receive the following penalties:
- he only pays a fine, so he is no longer suspended from work;
- you have 5 days to prove that you are exempt from the vaccine or that you have done the booster dose or that you have booked the dose to be done within 20 days, otherwise you will pay a one-time fine of 100 euros.
Healthcare personnel
On the other hand, for healthcare personnel who do not comply with the obligation:
- whoever is not vaccinated or cured will be suspended from work with loss of salary
Teachers vaccinated, but not showing the Green Pass
As mentioned, it is true that school and university staff will no longer have the obligation to show the Green Pass, despite having the obligation to have a vaccine until June 15, but in any case those who go to work without the Green Pass, until the end of the school year will have to perform other duties because he cannot have contact with students.
Green Pass for bars and restaurants: the obligation falls
As a consequence of the above, the Green Pass it will no longer be required to be able to eat in bars, restaurants, pubs and similar places, neither outdoors nor indoors.
We remind you that until April 30, the basic Green Pass, no longer the reinforced one, will be required to access these places.
Let's recap: where the Green Pass will not be requested
It will no longer be mandatory from May 1st for:
- workplaces;
- public offices;
- shops;
- means of transport;
- canteens;
- cinema;
- theaters;
- concerts;
- sporting venues and events;
- spas;
- conventions and congresses;
- cultural centers;
- game rooms;
- indoor parties;
- discotheques.
What will the Green Pass be used for from May 1st?
If it is no longer mandatory for any activity, what will it be for? In essence, it will continue to certify the vaccination or recovery from Covid and will be mandatory until 31 December for:
- enter hospitals;
- join the RSA.
Indeed, in these places there are frail people which must be protected and which are at risk when they come into contact with external people.
Obligation to wear a mask in the workplace
Initially the obligation had been eliminated for all workers from May XNUMXst, excluding some categories such as health care, but the Government has retraced its steps and the obligation will remain "In all cases of sharing work environments, indoors or outdoors" until mid-June.
So workers will have to continue to wear it in all cases where spaces are shared, in offices, both outdoors and indoors and even in supermarkets, to name a few. In any case, at the moment we reiterate that the obligation has not lapsed.
The recommendations on the mask for public offices
The Minister for Public Administration Renato Brunetta has issued a circular with the recommendations the use of the FFP2 mask in public workplaces. There is no mention of surgery, but focuses on cases where wearing the FFP2 is recommended.
The recommendations aimed at workers, not users, but remember that the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza recommends that the entire population wear it in all cases where you are indoors or in open places with many people.
Here are the cases indicated for public workers:
- when they are in contact with users, for example at the counters, without suitable protective barriers;
- when you work in a room shared with other colleagues, even if only in two), except in cases with spaces that exclude crowds;
- when sharing a room with frail people;
- when attending meetings;
- in the elevator;
- at the canteen or at the bar when you do not eat and drink, for example in line or in other common places;
- in the presence of flu symptoms such as cough and cold;
Masks on means of transport
It will certainly remain the obligation to wear the FFP2 mask on means of transport both short and long distance and where it is more difficult to maintain social distancing or the exchange of air until June 15.
Masks in theaters and cinemas
Resta compulsory also for cinemas, theaters, halls and similar places when the shows take place indoorsAlways until June 15. In these cases, just the surgical template is enough.
In case of outdoor shows it is mandatory to bring the mask with you and wear it in case of gatherings.
Masks in bars, restaurants and supermarkets
The rule does not change according to which the mask should not be kept while having lunch, dinner or consuming food and drinks, of course. What changes is that from May XNUMXst it will no longer be mandatory to hold it to get to the table or go to the bathroom.
Even in supermarkets there is no longer any obligation to wear it while shopping and going to the cashier. It will be the common sense of customers to decide whether to wear it or not, remembering that there are still many infections around.
Masks at the stadium
At the stadium the situation is like that of concerts and open-air shows with gathering: the mask must be worn, unless the fans in your sector are few or far between.
