The Holi Festival 2017 in Avella will be a party of colors with DJ sets, dances and lots of fun.
The 27 may 2017 at the entrance of Avella, in Via Nazionale delle Puglie (round Purgatory area), will take place the Holi Festival. It is an Indian rite, symbol of rebirth, which has come to the West and has been transformed into a colorful festival dedicated to young people. At the party, organized by Dino Dragone, Tiziano Biancardi and Gianluca Di Pinto, representatives of the Liceo Scientifico Medi of Cicciano, will participate the students of the avellano district and the students of almost all the high schools of agro-nolano.
It will be the third time that this festival takes place in Campania after theedition at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples andRacecourse of Agnano. All those who buy the entrance ticket they will receive a packet of colored powder as a gift which will launch into the air at the same time as the various count-downs are triggered.
During the Holi Festival young people they will dance, sing and have fun throwing colored powders and forgetting any kind of ethnic or social difference. It will be a moment of joy where nobody will be afraid of getting dirty and where the participants will not worry if the neighbor is a complete stranger.
As for the powders, the participants should not have any fear because are sure to 100%, also in case of inhalation or ingestion, moreover they can be removed with the simple water.
The party will take place outdoors and gazebos will be installed with the bar and the ticket office where children can buy colored powder sachets.
