The Bosco di Capodimonte in Naples closes again to the public because of too many gatherings and a lack of agreement with the vigilance!

After less than a week after the good news of reopening of the Bosco di Capodimonte in Naples occurred only on Monday 18 May, here it is from today May 23, 2020 the forest closes again to the public.

The director of the Bosco di Capodimonte explains the reasons for this closure Sylvain Bellenger, who complained, despite all the rules imposed to visit the park, a failure to comply with the rules to be followed to limit the spread of Coronavirus by visitors.

The rules imposed and the failure to agree with the supervision

In fact, to guarantee a visit in extreme safety, the Bosco di Capodimonte had drawn up a series of rules and standards to be respected, as the social distancing of at least one meter, the mandatory use of the mask, the ban on picnics and team games and routes with predetermined colors to avoid gatherings.

However, failure to comply with these rules led the director of the Bosco to a new closure, a decision which was contested by the Mayor of Naples, Luigi De Magistris, who said that closing the Bosco di Capodimonte, one of the largest in Italy, it is a very serious act.

However, there also seems to be another reason that prompted Bellenger to close the Bosco to the public, namely the failure to agree with private security which should have ensured safety and compliance with the rules within the park.
