Another place of culture in Naples leaves room for commercial activities of another type: we are talking about the famous and historical Rainbow Cinema of the Vomero which in a few days will be replaced by a big chinese shop.
The works have been in progress for some time, but theinauguration will take place in these days of mid / late November 2021, days in which we can say goodbye to an institution in the neighborhood.
Instead of cinemas there will be great environments with shelves full of items at a good price and the nostalgia among the inhabitants of the neighborhood, and not only, is great.
The megastore al Vomero: farewell to a historic place
The large Chinese store in Vomero is practically almost ready, only opening, as confirmed by the orders. Instead of the crates and machines that made popcorn, now there are boxes with many Christmas decorations and trees.
Obviously the movie posters will no longer be there, as well as the halls with the screens where the films were projected and in their place we will see many packages of all kinds which contain dozens of everyday objects that will be purchased by new customers of the place.
Il regret among the people it is very high and it was hoped, in recent months, to be able to avoid this umpteenth closure. It could have been transform into a cultural center of a different kind and thus avoid the cancellation of another historical place.
