Starting April 21, 2021, visits to the volcano that symbolizes the city of Naples, Mount Vesuvius , will resume . These visits had been suspended when Campania entered the red zone, but now it will be possible to visit the crater in the National Park again.

This is excellent news for those who want to embark on this journey to discover Vesuvius and for those who love being in contact with the flora and fauna. Specifically, it will be possible to visit nature trail no. 5 of the Vesuvius National Park , with entrance from the municipality of Ercolano.

Guided tours will be conducted in full compliance with all measures to contain the Coronavirus . Access to the trail will be possible only to those who have purchased a ticket , which must be completed online at the website indicated in the information sheet.

Entry through the automatic gate is permitted from 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after your chosen time. No refunds are given for latecomers.

All participants' body temperatures will be measured using a manual thermoscanner. Those with a temperature below 37,5 degrees will be admitted to the visit.

Masks are mandatory at all times, frequent hand sanitization is required, gatherings are prohibited, and social distancing of at least 1 meter from others is mandatory. In case of adverse weather conditions, tours will be cancelled and participants will be refunded.
