Located in the heart of the Pollino National Park, one of the most fascinating protected areas in Italy, an event is held that celebrates local gastronomy and culture. Scheduled for every weekend from 7 October at 12 November 2023, the event offers a variety of activities ranging from tasting typical foods to live shows.
What to eat at the Il Gusto del Pollino 2023 festival
One of the most captivating aspects of the event is undoubtedly the complete menu. The organizers offer a wide range of local dishes with a particular focus on mushrooms and chestnuts, autumn ingredients par excellence. On every weekend, both Saturday from 16 pm and Sunday from 00 am, it is possible to enjoy these delicacies. In addition, visitors can explore markets of typical products, where you can buy local specialties such as cheeses, cured meats and desserts.

But the event isn't just a foodie's paradise. Culture and entertainment lovers will have the opportunity to attend various performances. L'Volta la Carta Association takes care of various activities, including Tammorrasia Live e One Man Show with jugglers and street artists. Other musical events include live performances by Peppe Sapone, Carmen Floccari and Paolo Paviglianiti, Besides Mimmo Cavallaro e Tarantanova Canzoniere del Sud. Shows generally start at 18pm, giving visitors plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere.
