The Sal de Riso panettone is the best, it wins the World Championship

Panettone World Championship is a competition organized by the Founders of the Academy of the Master Yeast and Panettone, which has been held for two years with the aim of decreeing the best artisan panettone in Italy and in the world.

The second edition of the event which took place in Milano sees the Campania region triumph, in fact, it is right Sal De Riso to win the first place, but not only, because also second and third place have been awarded to pastry chefs from Campania.

Ithe best artisan panettone of the world is that of Salvatore DeRiso, owner of the pastry shop Sal De Riso on the Amalfi Coast of Minori. His panettone was judged by the three juries present, namely the technique, the critics and the popular, receiving the best score from each of them.

Sal De Riso himself claimed to have made his dessert paying close attention to the leavening, using quality ingredients, fresh eggs, Italian organic acacia honey, candied fruit produced by himself and Australian raisins 6 crowns. The care and the mix of flavors between orange, lemon, mandarin, bourbon vanilla and Tahiti allowed him to win the coveted title.

The second and third place in Campania

even the second and third place of the event, adding the votes of the three juries, were awarded to pastry chefs from Campania. Indeed, Aniello di Caprio of pastry Lombardi of Maddaloni he finished in second place, while in third place there is Giuseppe Mascolo of El Sombrero di Visciano, in Naples.
