Collaboration with the municipal administration
Naples, 19 April 2023 – Following today's meeting between theMunicipal administration and the organizers of the event Pizza Village Naples (17-25 June 2023), it was decided to transfer the event from Lungomare Caracciolo to a new location.
Statements from the organizers
The organizers of the event, Claudius Sebillus e Alessandro Marinacci, CEO of the company Oramata Ltd, declared: “We have agreed with the Municipality of Naples, represented by the commissioner Teresa Armato and by the mayor Gaetano Manfredi, to create this year the Pizza Village at the Mostra d'Oltremare”. The possibility of moving the event had already been discussed with the municipal administration a few months ago, evaluating various options including Market Square, piazza del Plebiscito, Scampia, Virgilian e MdObased on specific needs.
The event, characterized by a strong impact tourist e promotional for the city, required solutions that would facilitate access to the new location by the foreign and Italian tourists present for the occasion. Many said they were satisfied with the solutions proposed by the Municipality of Naples, which took into account the needs of the event, which in its last ten editions has attracted over 8 millions of visitors on the waterfront.
