The Path La Pineta di Terzigno on Vesuvius reopens: the path is free for everyone

Finally good news for all the citizens of Terzigno and beyond, that is, the wonderful path in the Vesuvius National Park has been opened. In particular, it is the Path n.11 known as The Pineta of Terzigno, located in the locality of Round plain, in the Municipality of Terzigno, in the province of Naples.

In 2017 there were several fires that devastated the entire path and for this reason in December 2020 work began for its redevelopment, works that were part of the Great Vesuvius Project, aimed at enhancing the place.

The new Path n.11 of the Vesuvius National Park is located in the Municipality of Terzigno and was built using the most modern techniques of naturalistic engineering, with purely natural materials.

The path with a large wooden platform with chestnut poles, and which can also be carried out by people with mobility difficulties, will allow you to immerse yourself completely in the and gentle cosmetics, to discover the landscape and natural beauties of Vesuvius.

In fact, walking you will find gods billboards and tables with texts also translated into Braille, which will explain the different traits, species and environments that characterize the place.

The maximum altitude that can be reached is 211 m asl and the entire route, of approx 1500 meters, it can be done in approx 30 minutes. We therefore invite you to visit this place to discover the wonders of our land. Admission is completely free.
