At the Naples PAN inaugurated the Impossible Naples Project exhibition with the panorama of the longest city in the world!
THEImpossible Naples Project, which will take place at PAN of Naples until December 13 2016, born from the photographic art project of the photographer Marco Maraviglia that in the twelve works on display reinterprets the places of Naples "in a metaphysical and surreal way and aims at stimulating an unusual visual perception of the city with impossible places".
The pride of the exhibition is the work Reloaded metamorphosis, the longest panorama of Naples in the world with its 8 meters of length and conclusion of a collective project that lasted ten years.
The exhibition, more than a traditional photographic one, has been defined as a "participatory happening" because during the exhibition the public will be asked to participate in the recognition of the places portrayed in the works by filling out a form. During the final evening, the organization will announce the winner: whoever has given the most exact answers will be able to choose how prize one of the exhibited works (excluding Metamorphosis Reloaded).
The exhibition is organized by the Photo Polis Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Culture Department of the Municipality of Naples and the PAN - Palazzo delle Arti of Naples with the moral patronage of the Italian Touring Club - Local Club of Naples.
