Another good news concerns Bacoli, after that relating to the opening of the free beach of Casevecchie. After 25 years, there will be first archaeological station of Cumana and to announce it is the mayor Josi Gerardo Della Ragione who for years has been constantly committed to improving the services of his splendid town.

La Baia station is the one we are talking about and after almost three decades it will finally be usable again and will become a new art station, beyond those of Naples.

The history of complicated jobs

Currently it was closed the judicial dispute between the Government Extraordinary Commissioner and the concessionaire of the works, but the works had been blocked for more than 10 years.

The Baia station had been closed for much longer, a few years before the 2000s, but the project to start the works had been signed in 2003. Only today has something finally moved.

When the archaeological station full of beauties will open

The new works will start by the end of the summer and it is hoped that the station will be open in a short time. Officially they should end by 2024.

It will be a fundamental station because Baia is a strategic hub and the stop will be beautiful:

  • the station will be underground;
  • there will be on the walls archaeological finds from the Roman era;
  • will represent a beautiful link between the monuments and the sea.
