Fire in Naples, a former Roma camp in the eastern area is on fire

On the morning of July 18, a fire shook the tranquility of the city of Naples. The fire broke out in the vicinity of a former Roma camp in Barra, in via Mastellone, near the exits of the Naples – Salerno motorway.
The sky quickly filled with a thick black smoke, visible from every corner of the city, creating an atmosphere of anxiety among the inhabitants of the eastern area. Many have decided to stay safe in their homes.

This incident echoes another fire that took place in the same area just a year ago.

Investigations are underway to find the causes, possible fraud

The flames came to life around 5 in the morning, and the causes are still shrouded in mystery.

Numerous teams of firefighters were mobilized to put out the fire, while the carabinieri have started investigations to determine the origin of the fire.

Luckily, At the moment there are no reports of people injured or intoxicated.
