For the 40 ° edition of the International Meetings of the Cinema of Sorrento there will be previews and debates on the theme of Drama with homage to the cinema Uk
From the 18 22 2018 April Will be held at Sorrento the 40 ° edition of the International Film Meetings, an important event that celebrates cinema and its protagonists. This year the theme chosen for the meetings is the Drama, while the homeland will be the United Kingdom. The program includes meetings with directors and actors as well as film screenings, all with free admission.
To open this edition of the festival there will be the film Youtopia by Berardo Carboni, presented in national preview. To attend the screening, in addition to the director, there will be the female protagonists Matilda De Angelis and Donatella Finocchiaro. Also on Wednesday 18 is awaiting the preview of the film Molly's Game, by Aaron Sorkin.
As regards instead thehomage to the United Kingdom, Thursday 19 Ben Hecking will bring his debut film, Provenance, to Sorrento. The next day will instead touch Saul Dibb and his Journey's End.
