Free entry to Pompeii Excavations thanks to the European Heritage Days 2013. A night visit is also planned
Saturday 28 September 2013 It will be a special day for those who want to visit Pompeii Excavations: these, in fact, will be open free to the public for guided tours, as part of the European Heritage Days.
The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism also joined the initiative, conceived in 1991 by the Council of Europe and the European Commission with the aim of strengthening cultural dialogue between European countries.
For the occasion, therefore, also the Pompeii Excavations they can be visited for free. It will be an excellent chance to go to one of the most visited archaeological sites in the world and one of a kind.
If, on the other hand, you are interested in one guided tour, it will be sufficient to contact the cultural associationsAssodipendenti-Terramia and Quovadisnapoli, that will also offer you some earphones to follow better, for the amount of 7 €.
The appointment with the guides will be in Piazza Esedra for hours and at 10.30 the visit will begin. Of course, the latter is optional.
Finally, we remind you that the day of September 28 is included in the initiative of "Night at the Museum“, Which provides for the night opening of the most important museums and archaeological sites in Italy, including the Campania region.
