Pompeii opens in the evening, night walks to the excavations with the ticket at 5 euros

Il Pompeii Archaeological Park is one of the most visited sites in Campania, every day in fact, many tourists come to Pompeii to admire the remains of the city which in 79 AD was completely buried by the eruption of Vesuvius.

And precisely as far as visits to the archaeological park are concerned, there is a wonderful novelty, in fact from 1 July to 26 August 2022, every Friday evening, there will be the opportunity to participate in night walks to the site of Pompeii.

The night route

The night walk will start from Porta Marina and will lead you to the monumental area of Civil Forum where you can admire all the main public buildings for city administration and justice, for business management, for commercial activities, such as markets, as well as the main places of worship in the city.

You can admire the projection of a video on the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD on the wall of the Basilica concerning about 90 photos taken during the health emergency.

The tour will end with the visit to the Antiquarium, that is a 800th century building with a space dedicated to the exhibition of finds that will tell you the history of Pompeii.
