The actor Biagio Izzo is on stage at Augustan theater with the exhilarating show The friend of the heart, directed by Vincenzo Salemme.
The show is a theatrical transposition of the film of the same name of success, directed and interpreted by Salemme himself.
The plot follows the scheme of the comedy of misunderstandings, where each character, to disguise his nature and escape the judgment of others, hides behind another identity, until the moment of truth arrives.
It is the case of the protagonist of the story, Roberto Cordova, who having to undergo a heart transplant with an uncertain outcome, asks his best friend, Michelino, who has always pretended to be a broad-minded and democratic man, to fulfill your last wish: go to bed with his wife Frida, a beautiful Swedish woman.
Although Michelino does not accept his friend's request, Frida decides to sacrifice himself and spends a night of love with Roberto. In the comedy alternate others weird characters, like a priest not too religious and a boy sick of the disease of Methuselah who believes he is the reincarnation of a blackbird. In the end, Roberto's operation succeeds and Frida is pregnant ... who will be the father?
