A brand new university hub will arise in Naples, particularly in the east area, precisely in the former Corradini factory. In fact, the structure, currently abandoned to decay, will be completely renovated and will take on a new look with many areas.

There will be student accommodation, offices, theatre, library, cafe, parking for the students of the San Giovanni a Teduccio complex of the Federico II University of Naples. There will also be services aimed at everyone such as swimming pool and gym.

How long will the works for the new university hub take?

Initially the project envisaged the construction drestaurants and a hotel, only later was it thought of instead of creating residences for students, which at a later time will then be entrusted to theADISURC, or the Agency for the Right to University Education of the Campania Region.

They were funded well 21,5 million euro for the works that will concern only a part of the entire complex of the former Corradini. It has been estimated that the works will last three years and therefore the new complex will be ready in 2025, once these are completed, the restored part will already be ready to welcome the students.
