The small Caserta town of Wall, in Caserta, known for its excellent strawberry production, is preparing to host the Strawberry Festival, an unmissable event for lovers of this delicious fruit. The party will take place in weekend of 12-13-14 MayIn the heart of the Old Town, between Piazza Berlinguer and the Palazzo Ducale.
The event was conceived and implemented byAssociation "The Tent" and enjoys the support of the Municipality of Parete, the agricultural cooperatives of the area (Coop Sole, San Paolo and Ecofrutta), the most representative trade associations and the contribution of sponsors.
A food and wine experience and a dedicated market
Inside the courtyard of the Palazzo Ducale di Parete, visitors will find:
- Exhibitors food
- Transfer market of Strawberry and point of sale
- shows of excellence
Nicholas Menditto, chef and professor of food and wine at the "Corrado" Institute of Castel Volturno, will lead the brigade in the kitchen, offering participants sweet and savory strawberry-based delicacies. During the party, pastry chefs and ice cream makers will use the Parete strawberries to create mouth-watering treats specialties to taste.

The ways of Old Town they will come alive with the presence of buskers, which will brighten the walk for adults and children. There programming of the event is varied and does not focus only on the culinary aspects and artistic: on Friday evening there will be an opening aperitif with DJ sets; On Saturday and Sunday, comedy and musical performances will be held by Tony Tammaro (13 May) e Peppe Iodice (14 May).
