The Festival of Ancient Braciglianesi Perfumes and Flavors with excellent local products

A Bracigliano, in the province of Salerno, the Festival of Ancient Braciglianesi Perfumes and Flavors from 18 to 21 August 2022 within the Vanvitelliano Castle, a very special location.

The gastronomic event will give us the opportunity to get to know and taste the typical products of the area and this festival, in particular, is part of the Bracigliano Food Fest which always attracts many gourmands even from neighboring municipalities.

In Palazzo De Simone, the name of the Vanvitelliano Castle that hosts the festival, precisely in its gardens, there will be products from the best local Valle dell'Irno and the Valle dell 'Agrosarnese-Nocerino. Four evenings to be enjoyed!

The menu of the Festival

In these 4 evenings we will be able to taste above all the following local specialties:

• sauce of goat;
• mascuotto, a toasted bread topped with caponata or beans or tomatoes
• malon, typical of the poor cuisine, a vegetable soup, generally turnip greens, accompanied by a "pizza" prepared with "poor" dough;
• headcheese;
• cold cuts.
