The famous Terrazza dei Cannoni of the Castel dell'Ovo in Naples will be closed starting from Monday 24 January 2022 to allow for the carrying out of renovation works.
The reopening date is not yet known because the press releases at the moment speak of "date to be allocated“, But we will communicate more information as soon as they are official.
The terrace with a breathtaking view
The Castel dell'Ovo is full of surprises and wonders and the Terraces of the Cannons, on the top of the whole structure, offer a truly incredible panorama to whoever faces it.
They admire the beauty of the Gulf, the grandeur of the Vesuvio, Our Seafront in all its depth and you can let yourself be lulled by sweet sound of the sea waves.
On this beautiful panoramic terrace they are still there ancient Spanish cannons inserted between the openings in the wall and pointing towards the city.
