The popular Italian series The brilliant friend, based on the novels of Elena Ferrante, was broadcast again on Rai starting from 3nd June 2023 in the early evening. They will be aired all Seasons available, i.e. the first three, while the fourth season will air in the fall absolute first viewing.

The brilliant friend is an Italian-American television series produced by Rai and HBO which tells the story of a friendship between two girls, Elena Greco e Raffaella Cerullo, from their childhood to adulthood, in the context of a popular neighborhood in the Napoli of the postwar period. The story develops through the memories of Elena, who tries to reconstruct the life shared with Lila, her brilliant friend, who disappeared without leaving a trace.
the two friends, Elena (Margherita Mazzucco) e Purple (Gaia Girace), grow up in a Neapolitan neighborhood in the 50s. Elena is a shy and studious girl, while Lila has an extraordinary intelligence and an indomitable character. The differences between the two fuel a challenging competition, which leads them to grow together into one Naples in evolution.
