Leonardo, genius of humanity, will be honored with an exhibition of some of his inventions, at the Railway Museum of Pietrarsa

Leonardo Da Vinci, an artist at 360 degrees, inventor and connoisseur of nature and man, will be celebrated with an exhibition, titled Leonardo da Vinci - the Universal Genius  at the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa for well 5 months.

During the exhibition it will be possible to admire some invented machines from Da Vinci, which are reproduced both in scale and in actual size. Because they are working, they can be used and concretely demonstrate the brilliant intuition of the great artist.
Leonardo designed and built illo tempore, between general skepticism, machines for the flight (a sort of ancestor of the parachute), a bicycle and a hydraulic pump and more.

In addition you can also visit the railway Museum which is one of the most important in Europe and which, through the setting up of an area dedicated to locomotives, traces the history of the Italian railway that began with the inauguration of the Naples-Portici section with the legendary Bayard locomotive, equipped with carriages. They are also exposed steam locomotives, electric, cogwheel, and petrol and naphtha littorine so different and strange for those like us is now used to high speed.

Are you ready to get on the train and travel in time?
