An afternoon dedicated to reading with the event “Una Giornata Leggend… aria. Books and readers on the streets of Vomero "
Il 20 May 2016 the engaging event "A Legend Day… air. Books and readers in the streets of Vomero".
On this spring afternoon the streets of the neighborhood will be filled with young students who will perform in literary performances on this year's theme: Naples and its neighborhoods. Each group of students has been assigned a district that will revive them through their own interpretation of literary works of well-known poets and storytellers. Some classes of students have also chosen a testimonial of the world of sport, entertainment or music.
Reading, therefore, understood as a fun and a way to socialize, this is the basic idea of the project. Many participating schools and two bookstores that contributed to the realization of the event: the bookstore Mooks in Piazza Vanvitelli, which will also host a "mini-reading" with the participation of students and authors and the bookshop "I'm in”Of piazza Fuga. Here, at 18.30, it will be possible to attend the reading of "excellent readers", more than 35 guests between actors, writers, musicians, journalists and exponents of the Neapolitan academic world.
This event was included in the programming of the national project "May books".
