Naples-Rome line temporarily suspended due to bad weather: replacement shuttles

I damage caused by bad weather yesterday 5 October 2021 in Rome made it necessary temporarily suspend the movement of trains that connect the capital and Napoli.

Un lightning it hit the cable cabin of the Torricola station and all the rides were interrupted until Friday 8 October, the day on which the reactivation of the service is expected.

The replacement shuttles

Travelers who have to make this route can take advantage of the replacement shuttles that have been activated while the technicians of the Italian Railway Network are at work.

Several trains Intercity Day have been replaced by a shuttle which will follow the AV line and that stops in Aversa. Instead, other Intercity Day and all Intercity night travel the route via Cassino, but the duration of the trip, in this way, increases by 1 hour and a half.
