The Lancellotti Castle of Lauro hosts Lumina in Castro 2017 among theatrical guided tours, medieval dances and courtly love!
From the 25 to the 27 in August 2017 the Lancellotti Castle in Lauro, in the province of Avellino, will welcome Lumina in Castro, a re-evocation event organized by the Pro Lauro association. In this twelfth edition the spaces of the splendid manor will come back to life with a trip in the Middle Ages.
The central theme is Amor Cortese, as evidenced by the wedding promise of two young medieval marquises, the leitmotif of the theatrical visit. Courtyards and lounges will come alive with loves and voices of ladies and knights, protagonists of the festivities.
On the program there are medieval dances, historical parades, duels and shows theme. This year's edition also features a gastronomic journey, which takes visitors to discover the typical flavors of the Vallo di Lauro. At the first courtyard, where the artists will perform in the medieval entertainment activities, it will be accessed free of charge.
