Naples marathon, diverted buses and closed roads

On the occasion of Naples Marathon di Sunday 14 November 2021 will all roads that will affect the passage are closed of athletes, therefore the cars will not be able to circulate.

The closures to circulation

Specifically, the circulation of vehicles will be prohibited from hour to hour 8.00 13.00. The marathon from 42,195 km, and the others that will start in unison, will start from Piazza del Plebiscito and will touch all the most important and beautiful streets of the historic center.

Bus lines diverted or suspended

The limitations are from 8.00 am to 13.00 pm.

  • Lines 1- 4 - 202 - R2 - 154 suspended from the start of service until 13:30;
  • Line 151 suspended from 8:00 to 13:30;
  •  Line 128 limits the path in Piazza Vittoria where it stops without reaching Santa Lucia;
  •  Line 140 departing from Posillipo, arrived at Largo Sermoneta, go onto via Mergellina (which becomes one-way towards piazza Sannazzaro) and limits to p. Victory. Returning to Posillipo, arrived in via Mergellina, turn onto via Orazio, via Petrarca, via Boccaccio, via. S. Strato and arrives at the terminus;
  • Lines 116 - 156 - 175 - 196 they limit the round trip to the Lucci-Ferraris roundabout;
  • Lines 195 coming from via Argine arrived in via Volta proceed on via Brin, via G. Ferraris, Corso Lucci, piazza Garibaldi, corso Novara, corso Meridionale, via Taddeo da Sessa, via Gianturco, inversion to piazza S. Erasmo and its own path
  • Lines 201 limits the route to via Diaz-Monteoliveto;
  • Line 204 limits the path to the Museum;
  • Line 254, that arrives from Portici, arrived in via Volta, turn into via Brin, G. Ferraris, corso Lucci, piazza Garibaldi, corso Novara, via Ponte di Casanova, c.so Garibaldi and its own path. The one that comes from Nicolini, arrived in Piazza Garibaldi, turns left into the central avenue, Corso Lucci, via Ferraris, via Gianturco, inversion to Sant'Erasmo and its own path;
  • Alibus: limits operation to the Airport - Garibaldi section. Arriving in Piazza Garibaldi, it only stops at the station, along via Torino, via Firenze and returns to the airport. They will also be scheduled direct connections from Porto to the airport.
