Il December 5 2021 there will be an unmissable event for all sports fans, in fact it will be held the Sorrento Positano Marathon.
Organized by Napoli Running Asd, the Sorrento Positano Marathon will give you the opportunity to cross some of the most beautiful places in the world, between sea and hills, and to make everything even more suggestive there will be the Christmas lights.
The places that will be crossed will be: Sorrento, Sant'Agnello, Massa Lubrense, Sant'Agata sui due Golfi e Positano. Athletes will be able to choose betweenUltra Marathon of 54 km , 27 Km overview. Let's see them in detail.
Ultra Marathon 54 km
The Ultra Marathon is spread over an important difference in height that it covers 54 km. The registered athletes will meet at 07:00 at Corso Italia, corner of Piazza Angelina Lauro. The Ultra Marathon will last approximately 7 hours. Path suitable for already trained people.
The marathon is part of the IUTA calendar of events, i.e. Italian Ultrtamarathon and Trail Association, and the flying finish line at 50 km will be assigned the Coastal Trophy.
Panoramic 27 km
The overview develops on an accessible positive altitude difference and will start at 09:00. The athletes will meet at Corso Italia, in the corner of Piazza Angelina Lauro and everything will last about 4 hours. For the overview there will be the “Green ribbon Grand Prix”.
How to participate
In order to participate in the Sorrento Positano Marathon it will be necessary toregistration on the official website of the event (indicated in the information mirror at the end of the article). For all those who register by October 31, 2021 there will be the possibility to customize the bib for free.
