As anticipated a few days ago, President of the Campania Region De Luca did not agree with the government's decision to no longer make the mask mandatory in the workplace and had announced the persistence of the obligation in Campania until the end of September or early October.

Il Government in recent days he turned around and decided to maintain the obligation to wear a mask for workers, in all places where workspaces are shared both indoors and outdoors, at least until June 15, 2022.

Vincenzo De Luca, for its part, has announced a provision whose content will be precisely thecompulsory mask for workers for the same period.

The provision of the Campania Region

The provision, and therefore not an ordinance as happened in the past, it is being evaluated and should be signed and published shortly, as stated by De Luca, and will be valid for all public and private workers.

A note from the Campania Region anticipates that:

Based on the provisions of the provision until the 15 June 2022 the owners of commercial establishments and production activities, including hotels, restaurants and bars, are required to ensure compliance by their staff with the safety protocol that requires the use of masks in all cases of sharing work, such as meeting places, canteens and kitchens

With these statements, De Luca confirms the their will to adapt to the decisions already taken by the Government, then from mid-June onwards we will see how to proceed.

The new variants of the virus

De Luca says he is very worried and invites to utmost caution because they are being born new variants of the Coronavirus in the United States and Beijing, variants that are not sensitive to these vaccines, so we too must be very careful because they could spread even more around the world.
