Thursday November 10 2016 al Teatro San Carlo of Naples Massimo Ranieri presents Malìa, an off-season concert.
Malìa is the artist's new album, a journey through the Neapolitan songs of the fifties and sixties, recorded with the collaboration of five great jazz artists: Enrico Rava (trumpet and flugelhorn), Rita Marcotulli (piano), Stefano Di Battista (alto sax and soprano sax), Riccardo Fioravanti (double bass) and Stefano Bagnoli (drums).
Malìa means magic, charm, seduction and is the most suitable title for this album that contains the best songs that at the time filled Naples with the charm of "caprese" making it seductive like a movie star. The Neapolitan singer has decided to re-propose them in jazz version to make them still young and exciting.
The pieces that make up this highly successful work will be proposed at the San Carlo Theater, including Luna caprese, 'O sarracino, Anema e core, Resta cu'mme, Tu vo' fa l'americano and Doce doce.
