Wonderful news for tourists and citizens, in fact a new station will soon open subway line 1 in a very important place, that is Capodichino Airport.
This new station will be characterized by a very particular structure, with spirals and in the shape of an Omega. The artist who created it is the illustrious architect Richard Rogers.
When will the new station in Capodichino open?
Finally the Capodichino airport of Naples it will be reachable by subway line 1! Wonderful news for all tourists and for the citizens of Naples themselves who, perhaps for work or other reasons, find themselves moving around and using the plane more.
However, you will have to wait another year to see the realization of the project, in fact the inauguration of the structure will take place in early 2024. It will be a new and very special station thanks also to this special sculpture in the shape of Omega.
The project regarding the works is entrusted to Webuild. This new metro will serve more than 60 million travelers a year with a catchment area of 685 passengers.
