MetroArt Christmas Special 2013 is the Christmas edition of the guided tours to the art stations of the Naples metro
The Naples metro will fully participate in the 2013 Christmas holidays and will do so by offering citizens and tourists the opportunity to participate in interesting guided tours within its own art stations.
Thanks to the help of the volunteers of Legambiente Neapolis 2000, in fact, an initiative has been organized that provides for the visit of the cultural and artistic beauties of our metropolitan stations on all weekends of the Christmas period. It is about MetroArt special 2013 Christmas and the program will start on the weekend of 14 and 15 December 2013 and will end on Sunday 5 January 2014.
All the art stations will be involved, starting from those of Toledo and Montecalvario, passing through the stops of Dante, Materdei and Salvator Rosa, reaching the province with the stations of Piscinola, after a stop also at Vomero.
The initiative was born from an idea born as a result of “MetroART, the beauty in transit places, the training course which, for the second edition, took place inside the Naples metro and curated by the Artistic Heritage Office of the metro.

Participants must be equipped with travel title.
Booking is not necessary.
As for, instead, the Metro Art Tour, the usual visits to the Toledo station every Tuesday, these will continue normally, but Tuesday 24 December will coincide with Christmas Eve and 31 with that of New Year's Eve. The visit, free of charge, will always start at 10.30 from the Toledo station hall (entrance to the turnstiles) to continue until the second exit of the station, in Largo Montecalvario. The duration of the tour is 90 minutes
