The latter is represented as a journey of people in search of a better place to live and migrants are portrayed as sellers of goods who work with dignity on the beaches. A moment to reflect and question ourselves internally on our degree of civilization and availability in welcoming refugees.
But acrylics on canvas are also a social criticism, expressed in the representation of the slums as opposed to the skyline of a modern, arrogant megalopolis.
