At the exhibition on Henri Cartier-Bresson at the PAN in Naples we will be able to admire dozens of photos of the French photographer!

From the 28 April to the 28 July 2016, PAN of Naples will set up the photo exhibition The Mind's Eye, dedicated to the famous French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson.

They will be exhibited 54 masterly photographic works of the great photographer, who in his evocative shots captured the highlights of the history of the last century, such as surrealism, the Cold War, the Spanish Civil War, the Second World War.

For this his particular story made of images was considered the pioneer of photo-journalism, characterized by a strong Communist political commitment that cost him three years of imprisonment on the part of the Germans.

Later, he founded the Magnum Photos, a cooperative of photographers driven by a precise ethic, which was destined to become the most important photographic agency in the world and which enriched itself with its incomparable photographic reports made during its countless travels in the West and East. Yup he also dedicated to cinema and drawing, always trying to immortalize the meaning of an event in an image. On the opening evening an aperitif with tasting of Gay-Odin chocolates will be offered
