University Museums of Naples to 1 euro for May of 2016 Monuments

The extraordinary University Museums of Naples will be open with admission to € 1 for the May of Monuments 2016.

Until 4 June 2016, within the May of the Monuments, i Museums of Natural Sciences and Physics of the Monumental University Complex di via Mezzocannone in Naples, they will remain open every Saturday and the ticket dentrance will cost only 1 euro.

The university museums are part of the Museums Center of Natural Sciences and Physics of the Federico II University of Naples and are the Real Mineralogical Museum, the Zoological Museum, the Museum of Anthropology, the Museum of Paleontology and the Museum of Physics.

The facilities will be visit freely or using a specialized paid guide, which will illustrate the vast archaeological and natural heritage, consisting of 160.000 finds found in the world and kept in various locations.

The museum complex, which is one of the most important in Europe, in addition to the scientific and historical value of the collections, has a significant architectural and humanistic interest in the exhibition rooms, which are equipped with modern communication and multimedia tools (touch screen, CD) and telematic (website), which facilitate cultural dissemination.
