The Archaeological Museum of Naples "adopts" 9 sites in the historic center and offers a card for discounted admissions to these structures.

Il Obvia project of the archaeological Museum di Napoli (MANN) celebrates one year and is renewed for 2017 with new projects including communication campaigns and the adoption of nine sites in the historic center where you can have thediscounted entry thanks to a special card.

Obvia, acronym of Out Of Boundaries Viral Art Dissemination, is a communication and promotion project conceived by a university team coordinated by prof. Daniela Savy, responsible for a memorandum of understanding signed between the MANN and the Department of Law, Federico II University. Objective of the project is the increase in visitor inflow at the MANN and the diffusion of artistic beauty through the viral dissemination of art beyond the physical barriers of the Museum.

Card of the Archaeological Museum of Naples

From 3 July it will be possible to collect a card from the title, which is part of the project "ExtraMANN", which will allow visitors to the museum who bought the ticket to get discounted admission to 9 sites in the historic center of Naples: Santa Maria delle Anime of Purgatory in Arco, Pausilypon e gaiola, Church of the Silk, Catacombs of San Gennaro e di San Gaudioso, the Augustan aqueduct of the Serino, the Hellenistic necropolis, Bourbon Gallery, Santa Maria della Misericordia ai Vergini and Bicycle House in the Galleria Principe.

The initiatives of the Obvia project

As mentioned, Obvia is renewed for the 2017 by inserting two new ways to achieve the objectives, called Obvia 1 and Obvia 2. The first, conceived by Mauro Fermariello, consists of the realization of fifty videos in which the same employees and collaborators recount the most representative works of the Archaeological Museum to be published on the MANN site on a weekly basis.
In parallel, the second program consists of collaboration with the new reality network to enhance the cultural heritage of Naples, thanks to the card we talked about.

In addition to these initiatives will continue the projection of shorts and spots created by Mad Entertainment: "The Mann and the Vesuvius" (for an adult target), "The Doryfori" (for the little ones) and "Heroes Never Change" that sees as protagonists, in the unusual role of superheroes, the Hercules Farnese and the Venus Callipigia.

We recall that the Museum has also created asmartphone app with an interactive game through which to know the history of the structure and of our city and that every Thursday evening entrance costs 2 euros.
