Il Railway Museum of Pietrarsa, flagship of the museum network of the State Railways Foundation, invites the public to a day with entry to 2 euro. The date to be marked on the calendar is the 7 April 2018: the special event scheduled is "Trains and the sea", with themed initiatives from morning to afternoon.
For the occasion, some initiatives in water, including the demonstrations of the Underwater Operators Nucleo of Naples and the regatta of sailboats of the Italian Naval League of Torre del Greco. The historian will also be present at the appointment Anton Dohrn Zoological Station, whose experts will illustrate the recovery activity of sea turtles.
But a self-respecting "marine" event cannot ignore the gastronomic aspect: visitors can in fact stop in thestreet food area with tastings based on sea products. The afternoon will be held on conference "The sea, the train and the ships", in which historians, engineers and teachers will discuss the relationship between these three important realities of the Neapolitan economic fabric.
