After the renovation works, the Pietrarsa Museum returns to enchant Neapolitans!

Sunday 4 October 2015, National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa will reopen to the public with the exceptional day “Open Doors at the Pietrarsa Museum”.

The opening of the extraordinary museum arrives after a period of important renovations relating to nineteenth-century buildings and open spaces. Furthermore the new stop of the “Museo di Pietrarsa” railway line which will allow visitors to reach the structure by train, starting from Naples.

On the occasion of the event not only will it be possible to visit the majestic complex, but they will also be interesting theater workshops, singing and elegant exhibitions of railway modeling.

Last but not least, on Sunday, all participants, through the purchase of the special ticket "Historic Train and Entrance to the Museum", can reach and enter the Museum on board a typical historical train which will start from the Napoli Centrale station.

A nice opportunity that will allow you to travel in history, among the furnishings, the vintage locomotives and wagons that tell the beauties, the fashions and the culture of Naples of the past.

Information: from 5 October 2015 the Pietrarsa Museum will be open every Friday from 9:00 to 16:30, every weekend from 9:00 to 18:00 and all other days by reservation for large groups
