An interesting initiative proposed by a young Neapolitan to nominate Naples as Capital of Culture 2023!
La Italian capital of culture it is a city that is elected every year by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism and which thus has the possibility, for an entire year, to highlight its cultural and artistic heritage.
There have been several Italian cities that have been designated as the Capital of Culture, with the exception of Naples and this is where the proposal for a young and enterprising Neapolitan, Davide D'Errico, to launch one petition to apply for Naples Capital of Culture 2023.

In his long post on his Facebook profile invites all citizens to sign this petition to ensure that the city of Naples with its rich artistic heritage as well as landscape, its history and culture may obtain this title.
It proposes Naples because, in addition to being a city with a thousand facets and suggestive beauty, it has proven to be one strong city and united during the pandemic period, as well as a model city thanks to the protocols devised by Neapolitan doctors, including those of Cotugno.
